I work with people and their pets to have good relationships
by developing good manners and resolving behavioral issues by building a repertoire of desired behaviors using positive reinforcement and play.

Mind Games
Learn games that exercise your dog’s mind!
We all know that dogs need physical exercise but they also benefit from mental exercise. This class is for dogs that are always looking for something to do. These are games you can play when you are tired, but your dog is not! You can sit on the couch while your dog has fun.
Your dog will learn to name objects, match to sample, play 3-cup monty, learn concepts like right & left, how to find things, and others.
VIRTUAL Saturdays at 10:30am
IN-PERSON Mondays at 3:30 | 4:45 pm at Y2K9s
Dog Parkour
Dog Parkour is the canine version of urban agility.
The goal is for your dog to move through the landscape playing with whatever happens to be there. Your dog leans basic skills that include putting 2 front feet on, all 4 feet on, going under or over, going around, walking on a narrow surface, or rebounding off of vertical surfaces. It builds both your dog’s fitness and confidence while also developing a sense of self control and thoughtfulness. It’s designed to be a sport dogs can participate in for their entire life.
Parkour can be practiced anywhere. Outside this might be on your walk using fences, retaining walls, bike racks, fire hydrants or street poles. In a park there are park benches, picnic tables, logs, stumps, gates, trash cans, and trees or maybe a playground. You can also play in your house using chairs, step stools, broom sticks, cushions, or boxes. The possibilities are limitless.
What sets Dog Parkour apart from other dog sports?
Creativity.
There is no limit to what you can use to play with and creating new moves is encouraged. Dogs sometimes even invent their own. It can also be modified for dogs of any age and skill level including elderly dogs and young puppies.
Physical disabilities, such as hip dysplasia, being a tripod, and arthritis can be accommodated with modifications of moves and I’m currently developing a new parkour course for blind dogs.
